I've been a member here for a few months (recently moved to Seattle) mostly reading reports and advice on how to catch salmon; I was hoping my first post on the site would be a report with how I caught a limit of pinks or coho, but alas I have come home empty handed every time I've gone out. I have few friends in town this weekend and they want to catch some salmon. I thought maybe I would take them out and we would try our luck, but with their limited time they want more of a sure thing than my limited experience can offer.
I looked through the guide service page, but a lot of the numbers are outdated. I was hoping maybe someone has some availability this weekend to take 3-4 people out on a river. We can travel to nearly any river in Washington, though the Snohomish or Skagit would be preferred.
Will pay full professional rates to a professional guide, BUT if a non-professional who wouldn't mind teaching us some things has a big boat and wouldn't mind the three (maybe four) of us tagging along on a trip this weekend, we could definitely work something out - pay for all of the gas/food/bait/tackle and maybe a little extra.
Feel free to reply or PM me with recommendations, offers, tips or words of encouragement - Thank you!
Best,
KW

Re: Fishing guide service?
Please let me know what numbers or links don't work, they should all be working just fine.
Now is a great time to great fish, especially if you can travel around the state. Coho on the Skagit with River Chrome Guide Service, or fall chinook with most of the guides that fish the Columbia like Don Talbot Guide Service or Capt. Dave or Moons Guide Service, Upper Columbia Guide Service. Kyle Jones just started fishing the Snake.
Only tough thing would be it's a weekend. A lot of guides are booked in advance. You're gonna need to do some calls.
Good luck and mention NWFR because some of our guides offer discounts for our members.

Re: Fishing guide service?
I tried the links again to see which one wasn't working for me, but they all seem fine - my bad! Called Chrome Guide Service and set up an outing for this Sunday. Will let you know how it goes! Thanks, Mike. Looking forward to being a bit more active in the community.
