RE:Line twist
If you do THAT, then the lure, and line, will 'spring back' like a bungie cord, and then you'll have even MORE slack line. Been there, done that, too many times by accident.

True, not the least expensive, but possibly the most simple approach to line twist. I get the really small ones, can't remember the size or the price. Have a great day!:)Jerry H wrote:MarkFromSea wrote:ball bearing swivel .....>>>>>>>>> SAMPO.......... http://www.sampoinc.com/
virtually eliminates line twist
True enough but rather expensive on the river when you get hung up:)

Nate, Outdoor Emporium or Three Rivers should have them. Freddies doesn't, I bought some at that Auburn Sports??? Sometimes Big 5.... Just phone a shop near you, there are also other brands that do just fine..... ball bearing swivel. I pop em on when casting lures a lot, the small ones really aren't expensive considering.

I must say I've never worried about it chucking anything on the river but, trolling even for 20 minutes, it's gotta be a Sampo. On the river I use Vision #7 and they seem to work just fine.
