I got the bright and tight egg cure and put it in a jar with my egg clusters. Each individual egg in the cluster is nice and even texture and the color of the eggs are great. I will leave them in the fridge until time to use on steelhead or possibly late chums. Any body have any luck with this egg cure and how do you like it? I haven't really done much egg fishing because I don't like dealing with the borax mess but I like this stuff a lot.

how are the eggs? are they really juicy? or once you strain them are they kinda dry?

They are like the texture you would find in Jared single eggs. Firm on every single egg but still in clusters. Plump. And good color and juice in the eggs but not runny like gooey borax stuff that I used. I like the texture. They are not leaking out all the juice like the others I've done leaving clusters half empty.
We will see when I fish them in a month or so.

Never used that product, but I've used Fire Brine with added cure which looks similar. I've actually done better with this type of cure, as opposed to regular wet eggs this year. Eggs come out really well, for drifting.

When eggs are cured. Are they as firm inside as a single egg used for trout fishing? Could single eggs be pulled from the clusters? Or, how would eggs be cured for single egg use?
