Any care to share how long thw float is from plumm access to the ramp by the raging river? Thinking about a thanksgiving day drift but cant miss dinner

It's been awhile since I have done that drift but as I remember it usually was a nice half day drift if we were working the water over pretty thoroughly. It can be a nice short afternoon float if you don't spend to long in each spot. There is some pretty nice side drifting water after the river bends north along the golf course. Also really nice hardware water just below the launch near the big boulder wall.

With the low flows that we are having it may be a bit slower of a float than normal winter pace.

Cool thanks for the advice. I have an 8 horse evinrude to help out if we are going too slow. Never floated the snoqualmie so should be a fun learning experience.

Ummmmm Like about an hour drift?... I guess it all depends on hoe hard you work it. Plum Creek or what ever it's called is the first ramp upstream from Fall City. The river does take a big loop through there but it takes a whole 3 minutes to drive from Fall City to Plum Creek. You could always go to Tolt if it was too short.

Ill just fish it hard and take my time. But it only takes about ten minutes to drive from ben howard launch to sultan river, but takes at least six hours to fish it all

Yes.............go all the way to the tolt access if you want to fish a ton of dead frog water and not be back before dark. There is another launch between fall city and carnation that would extend your float another hour or two but floating all the way to the mouth of the tolt is definitely not a drift you want to do if you are pressed for time. Bring your motor and you could easily make the drift from plum to fall city a 4 hr drift by side drifting through a few holes multiple times. Everyone fishes differently so the run could take you an hour or it could take you 6. All depends on how you go about it.

Probably alot of side drifting. Just reade the regs, its selective gear till December so I'll be running yarnies.
