I got some of these Krocodiles but don't know how to rig them for fishing salmon in the rivers. This is my first year salmon fishing and I'm still learning different rigging techniques for tackle I already had. Any help on these Krocs?
Thanks,
g

They are weighted spoons so you could use them by themself....
You could tie straight to your mainline, or put a swivel 2 feet up and some leader to your spoon...
Although Dick Nites might be something you wanna check out. Salmon in rivers tend to take smaller presentations, such as dick nites...

Thanks Sam. I have some dick nites as well. I just am not too keen on how long it takes me to set the rig up. But maybe I'll put the krocodile on my backup up gear. What's your preference, dick nites or corkies and yarn?

I used a small sized red kroc for humpies this year with good results. Still havn't caught anything on a dick nite, but then again, i don't have the patience either.

Depends on the water you are fishing....
Personally I did best on Dick Nites for the humpies this year..

Krocodiles are very good lures you can just launch them. I also like to use the bigger one for selective gear trout fishing, just make sure to replace the treble hooks. Also they just came out with some new colors.

Krocks work well on steelhead too. Had phenominal success on the Methow river a few years back. Like gpc said just replace the treble hooks.
