Northwest Fishing Reports

Is fishing around the Tolt River closed due to flooding? I'm thinking about going to the creek adjacent to the Tolt hatchery.

I went by on sunday and it was back inside the normal banks, but was still dark brown from all the runoff. I'm going to wait a few weeks and hope it gets back into shape. Same thing with Snoqualmie right now, like chocolate milk. I did see people trying to fish it though, and I also saw a few homeowners powerwashing mud off thier driveways 1/2 mile from the river. You could probably pick fish out of the fields at remilinger farms right now, the whole valley was a wash. Tolt is still moving fast and high.

Fishndude, I believe you are talking about Tokul Creek. It runs into the Snoqualmie upstream from Fall city and is a popular fishery when the main river is out. the lower section is currently open but you'll have to wait until the 15th of Jan before you can fish the upper section.
