So I have been on Craigslist looking for a guide for my son and I and was extremly disappointed in the ethics and attitude some of them have. Slander each other, flag their posts....its ridiculous.#-o Any one have any good guides you would suggest? Any bad experiences on Craigslist?

Thanks guys!!:colors:

I fish with Phil Stephens of Mystical Legends http://www.riverfishin.com/. He is A1. I never got him off of craigslist though. I read his reports at Steelhead U, watched is reply's on another website, and then I actually meet him at the Sportsman show '08. I fished 3 times with him last year, on the Cowltz, and I am scheduled to fish again May 26th. He is remarkable. :dj:

This year I met a guide named Dan Walling of Dan's Guided Trips. I was impressed with him as well. He is not a full time guide and his wife just had a baby. :bom: He is extremely nice and helped teach me. We fished from the bank on the Green. Dan was on another website, although at one time he did advertise on craigslist.

I would imagine that you are looking for cheaper prices since you are looking at craigslist?

This is a good time for fishing the Columbia River-rivers.
