I bet they are Ok, but the dog will love you for it. Mine loves smoked salmon.

I cought one just like that out of heart lake a few months ago. It was only about 7 inches long but had the body mass of a fish in the 12-14 inch range.

by the way the dimented trout was DEE LEE CIOUS I ate it smoked
