RE:favorite colors?
For me this all comes down to species and the lake. Fire Tiger and perch usually work though for the bass I am after. but anything brown or darker when I try using them on trout
Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday

The perch rapala has worked the best on shallow fish, although good ol' silver is a close second.

When it comes to small mid-depth crankbaits , "sparkle fire tiger" and "glass silver shad" have been the most productive.

Black, blue, or Green backs, silver bodies.
Perch seems to work in lakes with perch.
Glass colors in the above seem to work well for me too.

Too much water, so many fish, too little time.
