I spoke with Kokonuts last week and he saw a few boats on Merwin. Is anyone having any luck in the year round lakes, or are most of us still being forced to look at our boats in the garage everyday when we get home from work?Early season trout or kokanee in SW Region

Early season trout or kokanee in SW Region
I spoke with Kokonuts last week and he saw a few boats on Merwin. Is anyone having any luck in the year round lakes, or are most of us still being forced to look at our boats in the garage everyday when we get home from work?Take a kid fishing and make some reel memories.

Were gonna give it a shot at Tapps this weekend. Musky, Bass and Kokanee are the targets. Will let you know how it turns out.

From the reports it looks like we would have to go to eastern wa. for trout. I was wondering why since some of the lakes just got clear of ice? Could it be we here in western wa. don't know how to fish cold water?
