Time for looking for that after Christmas gift...I am not sure where to buy them but for some good reading go to Google and look up a patent search for "Heated Fishing Pole" http://www.google.com/patents?id=9iIaAA ... shing+pole..... WOW!!! Where are they when you need them? You guys are a bit strange but I wish you all the luck at Rufus Woods. . Happy Holidays, Steve

Fly Fishing is the art of attaching a fake bug to a line and relying on the appropriate manipulation of the rod to deceive the fish into eating a sharp steel hook covered with feathers and fur.

Sorry Big Dog, I have been withdrawn. It is disturbing that the reports are so minimal. What can I tell ya?, fishing is cold right now. And myself personally, I haven't been out to the rivers to tag the stealies. How'z it with you?

I'll be out fishing as soon as my road gets better.Living in the sticks has some advatages and some downfalls.I'm itching to get out there.Santa brought me a new pontoon boat and I'm really wanting to get it into the water.

Been awhile for me, I'm starting to get jittery:shaking: fishing time has been taken up by snow shoveling & other duties - never thought I would want a snow blower on this side of the state! Looks like it payed off and I avoided a swimming pool in my basement (knock on wood). Hoping I can sneak out in the next week!
I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker

I've got a family reunion going on and then my wife wants me to take her to Vancouver BC or Oregon. I'd like to get out and try to tag a winter steelie. It might work out, the rivers might get blown out from all the rain and snow meltoff coming up.

went to the north fork of the stilly today, up by c-post and fortson ponds, caught one nice native and watched some dumb **^% take a native homw with him. lots of fish seen but they are being extremly light mouthed right now. water temp was really cold so i think that might have something to do with it. i love fishing this time of year. nothing better then chipping ice outta the rod guides

For those of you thinking of hitting the waters by boat, be aware that the winds can pick-up very quickly and make for some treacherous conditions. Add to this the water temps being below 50 degrees and minimal boat traffic and you have potential for a tragic accident. I was just out on Lake Washington today and a calm morning turned nasty is a very short time. I don't remember ever having that many waves come over my bow and I've been in some nasty weather. If you go, be prepared, be smart and be safe!
