Lake Trout in Riffe Lake????

Lake Trout in Riffe Lake????

I heard form someone recently that there were lake trout in Riffe Lake. Is this true?

Havn't heard that one yet but I suppose its possible that someone could have dropped in a few but I'm doubtful

maybe go trough old reports from Riffe ...try 'n contact some of the old salts that made reports in the past....see what they have to say <shrugs>...DOG

My guess would be that someone caught a fish they thought was a laker when in fact it was actually a dolly or bull trout. There was/is a similar rumor for Lake Washington and Sammamish and I know the system has a few of these fish left in it.

Edit: If you do catch a fish that you think is a laker in Riffe, make darn sure it isn't a bull or a dolly, they are protected and must be released unharmed.
