Cool! I likes it.
My only issue is that she keeps calling it, "Fishing the Sewer" but then along the way, she clarifies and says, "Fishing the storm drain system"
Speaking for us "Crazy about fishing people" You gotta love stories like this.

I use to fish in the ditch in front of my house when it would rain a lot. Only thing I ever caught was frozen herring I put in there myself though ;)

I would fish that stock tanks that the cattle would water in at the ranch. My grandma would put bullheads and goldfish in some, and the one in the corral had minnows she used for bait. I'd spend hours in that corral with a stick, 12" of line, an egg hook and a worm.

We die-hard lifers all have a story like this, don't we? I remember fondly my childhood fishing adventures. Funny, what is it that got me hooked, and my best friend from childhood just thought it was kinda boring and wanted to go do something else? Do we all have a "fishing gene" attached to our DNA?

As a kid in Michigan I'd go fishing anywhere and any time I could, didn't matter what specie, river, pond, lake, ice. All without a boat until my Dad rented a boat once.

After we moved to the city in southern Calif. I had to go without fishing for about 4 years unless we went on a weekend trip to the mountains. Then we moved to Northern Calif. and fishing started up again most days year around.

Once I started catching Bass in a Northern Calif. creek nothing else mattered, then in a lake from the shore, and fly fishing in a small pond, then floating on an innertube in another larger pond using a plastic worm, fly fishing, flatfish, and spinners. Anything and everything can go away, but Bass fishing will always happen. If I end up with no boat, then I'd still fish for something from the bank.

Hunting is ok, but fishing is where it's at. [thumbsup]

I used to catch crawdads in the storm drains in front of my house in Texas as a kid. Seems plausible to me.
