Northwest Fishing Reports

Hello!

Just joined the site. I did a lot of fishing as a kid and just decided to get some equipment and get back into it. I was interested in some recommendations on good places near Seattle (within an hour or two). I don't have a boat, so I'm looking for lakes/rivers where I can cast from the shore. Scenic environment probably takes priority over tons of fish, but both recommendations are appreciated!

From the main page, scroll down a little and you'll find links to fishing reports on the right side of the page. They are broken down by county, and often include pictures, details, and directions...lotsa good info.

It can also be accessed by the "reports" button just under the banner at the top.

lots of stuff near or around seattle. Lake Boren near Renton is decent if you find the right spot to cast from (for the view at least). Pine Lake and Beaver lake both have good shore access and/or docks (both in the Sammamish area). There is lake Sammamish also but I don't know of a good dock there. Lake Washington has a lot of parks around it. you might want to look into Luther Burbank park on Mercer Island, I have not fished it but it has a lot of shore/dock access over a wide area (relatively speaking) of lake Washington. I am sure a lot of other guys here have better information than me, I just got back into this a few months ago myself but it is worth it.
