Well my kid just informed me my 1 man tent is on the fritz. Nice.... I am bringing a good sized tent that could fit three. If anyone wants room it works for me.
I have never met a fish yet that respected a big purchase. You can own a $100 boat or you can own a $30,000 boat. You might be more comfortable, but don't expect any fish to care about your investment.

I have some bad news for you guys. I know the weather man has been wrong before, but I was just checking the Mar Don website when I came across the weather. It says there is a cold front moving in, Friday its supposed to rain and mostly cloudy for Saturday. And its supposed to drop down to 40 degrees at night. I dont care, still going but man it would be great to have regular Mar Don weather

I fish every month. Rain snow sleet hail. I will fish in everything but lightning. I agree that if the weather comes through it may keep a lot of fishing pressure away. Bring the rain, bring the cold, just bring the fish with it. I have always found that weather is either too hot, too cold, too wet or too windy based on weather or not your catching fish. I have never complained about the weather yet when the fish are biting.

For what its worth I have found the most reliable weather link is the National Weather Service http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/forecast/MapCli ... -119.17417

It has for Othello a chance of rain on Friday, Saturday clowdy and Sunday rain is likely. It does have it getting down in the 30's on Friday night and 40's Saturday. Take it for what its worth, its a weather forcast. I wouldn't go to Vegas with it.

Good fishing.

Joe

joe h. is correct about the weather. it is definently going to help the walleye bite. i just hope the winds stay away. my dad talked with a couple of bass/pros fishing the FLW tourney out of richland last week-end, he asked them what they use for "BIG" crappie. he was given a coupleof these little creature plastics about the size of a quarter, im hoping they help me at least challenge CK14 on the dock! heading early a.m. tomorrow. good luck to everybody!!!!
