So all week, Robyn has been saying she'd be too busy to do anything on Friday, today, Valentines Day. This morning, she starts hounding me, "What ARE WE GOING TO DO?"

Thats right 49.99 dozen roses on VD day after and there on out 14.99 or something like that. You get the idea. I cheated I went to the dollar store got some balloons, candy and fake rose pedals and decorated the house this morning before work. Oh and a bought the wife a new coffee cup. Mainly decorated for the daughters. My oldest saw the pedals on the floor and told the wife "someone made a mess" wife said it was daddy and my daughter said with attitude " well daddy made a big mess and he will have to clean it up because its his mess " I scattered them down the hall to the living room to there balloons and candy. LOL

I hate this day too. My misses has whatever she wants everyday of the year. I don't have to prove nowt and certainly wouldn't pay over the odds for flowers.

Most of the time were busy and caught up with everything that's going on. We keep it simple and personal. Make the extra effort to just be together and add some romance that daily life doesn't make time for.

I do agree! It really didn't take much to keep her happy.... It was just too funny to me the way Robyn said all week she would be too busy, then, wham, it was an ambush and I had to pull something out of my sphincter to get the job done. LOL
