My favorite moments:

Nastia Liukin at the gold medal ceremony, and her father/coach (former gold medalist for the Soviet Union) with tears in his eyes while the star-spangled banner plays

Matthias Steiner (German weight lifter) winning the gold on his last lift of the day (to beat the Russian lifter ahead of him) and celebrating the gold and dedicating the gold to his late wife (holding her pic and the gold medal at the podium)

I'm kinda a softie for these Olympic moments
