Had an issue with my password and couldn't login. A reset password request took a while to hit my email account, but as you can tell it worked out eventually. Why can't hackers do something useful like disrupt a Chinese government or defense system?

So, does that mean that we got hacked or something..?

Yeah, someone with to much time on their hands. With that sort of time, they could
volunteer and take part in charities.

I have to adjust to the layout but looks good.

Aaron has put a lot of hard work into making some changes that are quite nice. Even I have to "explore" them a bit to learn how they work. Many people want things to stay the same, but change is good. We'll adjust and become comfortable once again. We went through this in the last big site update.

I like it. [wink]

The new forum layout will take some getting used to but hopefully it will be better in the long run.

I didn't have any trouble getting or waiting for a new password... I got three notifications in 7 seconds about a new password.

The forum will take some getting use to but.... life does that.

I deleted my cookies and temporary internet files. Logged in, then logged out.

When I logged in after that, all my issues were gone.

LOL, untill I changed my theme... then I lost tons of access. (Win 7 IE9). I had to log into an XP IE8 machine to get back in to fix my theme.

I had an issue with logging on using my new password until I dumped my cookies as well. Be sure to get in a clean out your old PM files, it looks like we are limited to 30 at the moment.

Yes, you are limited to 30, but you can archive them.

I very much rely on my old PM files for info. Do you mean that "We" the user has to archive them some how, or that we need to request for you to do it?
Until then it looks like we cannot send PM's..?

Edit: Just an FYI, I archived everything, inbox, outbox, in between box. I still cannot send PM's. Not complaining just passing it on.
Mike Carey,, if you read this, I have sent 20 bucks to you at your PO Box.

Anyway, thanks Aaron for the hard work. He was up at 1:30 last night getting the site back up and running. This forum version is more secure and also has extra features like the photo gallery and buddy lists. More that I'm probably not even aware of yet. We've set it up for all registered members to have 1 free gallery of 30 pictures, and the Premium Members will get 5 galleries of 60 pictures each.

Change is the only constant there is. Next year will be our next complete site upgrade. This forum is just coming early. The site upgrade will have a bunch of cool enhancements as well. :dj:
