Northwest Fishing Reports

Had another dream last night about fishing. Have had that dream a couple times in the past.

I'm fishing in the house and casting along the baseboards, and skipping under the tables and chairs, and catching Bass.

Then I am outside and skipping worms under the bushes and by the trees and catching Smallies.

I think I have a problem.

Um...what problem? Sounds normal to me.

I just remembered, one of the last dreams I had months ago there was a tournament. Others were fishing the houses and trees too. One spot was something like a tree with a split trunk at the base, but I don't think it was a tree, I think it was metal. One guy fished it and got nothing, I then went over there and caught one. Made me feel good. Hmmm

I hear ya!
I keep hoping spring will show up soon, starting to go a little stir crazy.. last fish I landed was a coho in early December... well besides in dreams... hahaah

A predicted string of 9 days in a row in the Spokane area of 50 degrees or above should have us on the water over here very soon. However, until then, don't forget to fish around your garbage cans. They provide great cover and shade for those weary bass! I do pretty well around them when I have those dreams.

Good idea, lots of food in a garbage can. Thanks. But then the deer beside the dog yard this morning when I let the dog out probably cleaned out the garbage can. Better cook up more garbage soon. Suppose to be 50 today. Might be able to go fishing tomorrow morning if the wind isn't bad. Maybe even later this morning. Suppose to be rain until Tues, and sunny then, so looking better.

Tuesday is looking kinda good. gonna hit some smaller waters. the wind is really blowing today!

Yup on Tuesday, and double yup on the wind. I was going to go this morning, but it rained. Tomorrow is another day, maybe it'll behave. Just got done putting new line on my new spinnerbait reel, HAVE to try it.


The 'spinner wheel' on the wind speed thingie shows that it got to 15 mph this afternoon, and 10 about noonish.

I was staring into my ditch the other day, wondering if i could get a bobber and jig down the slot...
