Alot of people run 2/0, or 2.

I use a size 1.

foget corky, go with a bead or just plain yarn, black, purple or white are my favs with a #1/0-2/0 hook since I have had big kings break my smaller hooks in half. I normally fish leaders 6ft or less and 3ft with eggs.

Yeah tell me about it I struck out I forgot the bag of cannon balls I have at home all I had was pencil lead today. it sucked big time.I put the cannon balls in the truck today just in case I forget next time.

I was able to help the F&G recover 2 stolen boats while on the river.

not at da secret hoe, dem biguns in dere will break a cheap wire hook or a brads/beaumac red #2 any day. I have hooked a 30lb+ dark king in da mouth once there only to break my brads in half on a jump and I did not relize it for 20minutes #-o That is why I made the great switch to eagle claw or black/silver finish hooks, A LOT stronger

I just read a report that the writer advises using a long leader and a bead to engage in strikes. I find this disgusting. I disagree and have witnessed the best snaggers use small beads. I guess if its legal and in the mouth but still burns me up inside. :thumbdown

buttsoar is exactly what you guys are doing to the fish. not trying to make anyone upset but I have a right to express my opinion.

going some silva fishn in another HC trib later, jigs and spinners and maybe some eggs, gonna get me some nice koho haha.
I do not think eggheadwarrior is odh becuse odh spells coho differently most of the time.

They sure seem like the same person. Even posts the same or similar comments on different boards, except for the gear/tactic used to catch a fish:

Offdahook on this thread on Aug 13: is it just me or do skok fish smell funny

Eggheadwarrior Aug 14 on Gamefishin: ...i did notice skok kings dont taste as good as a springer /summer steel out of cowlitz . is it just me or do skok kings have a funny smell to them

R. ton, let it go, your a scrub, get off this forum. as for long leaders and a bead, the salmon just love biting your fishing line then you drive the hook into their mouth, dont blame the people, the salmon just love the line helps floss the bacteria out of their mouth as we reel em in :)
