I only got 6-8 inches of snow over the last few days. The 4x4 Dakota handled it quite well. Marymoor hill was a mess on Thursday.

The attached pic is of the back lot here at work, where there is still about a foot of snow. Havnt missed a day of work yet.

How's this Marc? It only took about 7 days and quite a few delivered meals.

These are both in the beginning of the snow blast, I think on the Thursday the 18th so they would be even more "snowy" if I took them the few days later in the storm...

I thought so too. (maybe) As it turns out, I took the picture through a window and the light in the sky is a reflection of a hanging light over my wife's sewing machine.
Darn it.

We have snow......and it keeps on coming. It has been a constant chore keeping up with it and preparing for the next storm by removing snow from roofs in the neighborhood. The first picture is on my corner. The red flag is marking the fire hydrant that I have dug out twice. There are cars parked in the driveway of the gray house, second on the right.
The second picture is of my wife and the boys out on a walk.
We did take Christmas Eve day to enjoy it. My daughter and family moved here from New Zealand last summer. Here husband, who has lived in NZ all his life had seen a small amount snow once before coming over to the states. It was the first sledding adventure for him and my grandson Noah. It also was the first time I have been on a sled in about 15 years.

Marc,
You wear your stocking cap the same way I do. Lots of room for our pointed heads. Actually that space above our heads helps to trap body heat and it keeps your head warmer than if you wore your hat snug. :jocolor: :jocolor: :jocolor:
Is that Noah? Looks like he's having the time of his life.

those pics are amazing, even from a Midwest backround, that's a LOT OF SNOW! Glad you east-siders are hanging in there. I'm realizing it's nice to have this site to keep tabs and in touch with each other.

More expected all through next week. At this rate, the east side lakes may be open by the 4th of July:-" Don't plan on fishing while over here for the Sportsmans show Mike.

Hey Marc,
Do you know when the Sportsman Show is scheduled? I can't find their website.

Never mind. I found it.
