With more lakes open there are a few I haven't been to that I'd like to try out. But I'd like to avoid wasting a trip to get to a lake only to find it doesn't have good shore access.
I'm without boat so if someone wouldn't mind telling me about the availablitly of shore access for the following lakes, that would be great. Of course I wouldn't mind some pointers about the lakes as well.
I'm most interested in:
Lake Margaret
Riley Lake
Storm Lake
And, of course, I'm always open to suggestions for other locations.
Thanks

RE:Trying out new lakes
Storm has a small area to the left of the launch. Flowing (across the street from Storm) has more access and also the county park.
RE:Trying out new lakes
Lake Margaret has bank access right next to the parking area. Note that this is also the boat launch. It is big enough for a few people to get setup and still allow people to launch the boats but I could imagine this to be a hassle at times if it gets busy enough.
Check out the Lake Margaret info in the lake index. There are pictures of the launch area so you can get an idea of how big it is and there are also several reports in the reports section indicating success fishing from the shore.
