Blackman's Lake???? Snohomish county

Post by mltxj9889 » Sun May 22, 2011 12:54 am

I was meaning to fish the lake for some time now and was talking to a coworker and he said it get fished out very shortly after opening day? Is this true? Are people still pulling out the big fish I have seen in the reports?I was just wondering if the action is still any good at blackman's for trolling for some big trout????

Cant believe no one has replied to you yet. They planted small trout in there, with some triploids. I dont think it gets fished out, maybe this year with the reduction in trout planted, it will. The lake is shallow so once it warms up, the trout are less active. I fish it in spring and fall, when the other lakes close, seems to work for me. Should be good for 2 more weeks if trolling. The south end of the lake is the deepest, so if there not biting on the north shallow end and along the oposite side of the lauch, target the south end.:cheese:

Blackman's has several docks for fishing, but that's about the only good thing about that lake.
