When was the last time you cleared your cookies out? On your browser?JAYDOG wrote:It came up on Google for me. I'm attempting to make reservations via email right now. If I don't hear back in a couple days I will call the number given. That's how I reserved there last time.
its not just there either camping used to be a cheap get away not anymore.JAYDOG wrote:I wonder if they closed it down due to lack of interest\use.....? We have decided to go to Chelan instead in March and chase Kokes. We enjoyed the cabin when we went there a couple years ago and thought it was reasonably priced, but $50 a night to camp on the river bar with no amenities other than view seemed pretty pricey.
To true , I just paid $114 for two nights reservation on Hood Canal for Shrimping.sickbayer wrote:its not just there either camping used to be a cheap get away not anymore.JAYDOG wrote:I wonder if they closed it down due to lack of interest\use.....? We have started staying in cheap hotels instead of camping out. Not as much fun for sure, but a lot less work and junk to pack up and take with you. Not much more expensive either. Plus better showers, shorter walk to the bathroom (a big deal for some of us!) and no bugs!JAYDOG wrote:To true , I just paid $114 for two nights reservation on Hood Canal for Shrimping.sickbayer wrote:its not just there either camping used to be a cheap get away not anymore.JAYDOG wrote:I wonder if they closed it down due to lack of interest\use.....? I concur 100% and none of that sleeping on the ground.Larry3215 wrote:We have started staying in cheap hotels instead of camping out. Yes sir!!!!Larry3215 wrote:LOL We went from sleeping on the ground to taking cheap air-mattresses to taking those huge blow up full size air-mattresses to cots with the space age foam pads, to staying in cabins with cheap mattresses and now to hotels. Even their worst bed is batter than any of those options!
Well, most of the time.... We stayed in one place in Port Angelus last year where I swear the shower was so small you literally could not turn around without knocking the door open and the shower head was below shoulder height. You literally could not get your head under the shower if you were over 5' tall. The toilet was so close to the wall in front, you had to sit sideways!
Still better than sleeping on the ground at my age :D
