Farve vrs. the Pack

Post by Mike Carey » Mon Oct 05, 2009 8:28 pm

so who was watching tonight's game? I checked in and out at various points. Pretty entertaining. Love that a guy with grey in his hair can still throw bullets. Never thought I'd say this, but "Go Vikings" (choke sputter choke gasp)

I'm a football fan...Love the Seahawks, Like many other teams...and have more respect for many great players. Favre has past respect and moved into legendary status. Amazing performance, amazing game. One that we'll be watching years down the road as one of the Graet Performances of all time! I know football...and this was a classic.

I kinda like the piece of trivia that he is the only player to have beaten EVERY pro football team. His response to this - "Well, I guess it's nice to be remembered for something". LOL The post game interview was interesting - the interviewer did her best to let him diss on the Packers/management but he never did give her the satisfaction of a quotable response.

Favre is a class act player...and the players are smart! I haven't been a fan of sport media lately as they have been trying to 'bait' players into saying the wrong thing, or even trying to have them say something to scheme up some sort of drama. Favre is smart, in fact i've been a fan of ALL the players lately (even T.O.) with their dealings with the media! True class act football players let their game speak loudly for themselves, and thats what Favre said...He is very proud of his career, he doesn't have to prove anything to anyone, and only wants to help win a championship again! Favre has true love for the game and is a model for all players out there how to live their lives in the lime light no matter the controversy that is scarced up around them!

And to imagine that you will have to go through it again when the two teams meet again...

Too true, infact,I'd bet the farm that the sports media will be having a field day with Favre's return
to Lambeau.
