Talking about the section between Everett & Snohomish, there are now at least four permanent camps, several spots where these bums just camp in their cars, one spot where the dyke blew out a few years ago has a pile of trash probably six feet high and a couple of derelict cars, one burnt out, all sitting where the signs says no vehicles allowed.
Both cities police departments say it is out of there jurisdiction and with only a slight rise in petty crime it is not something they are going to put resources on anytime soon.
I for one will not be fishing from the bank along this section of the river anytime soon.

You mean Lowell-Snohomish River Road, south of the river right? That's too bad. Times are tough.

It's only going to get worse. Those are the folks with no voice, they will get steamrollered after the 20th.
