Hey all, how's everyone doinng?
I'm a Portland guy, however, I'll be headed up to Olympia next Friday to go fishing with my Sister. We would prefer to target trout and hopefully harvest a couple for dinner. I have an inflatable boat with electric trolling motor... any suggestions on where we might want to go near Olympia? I was thinking Black Lake for its close proximity but I'm open to suggestions.

Try looking at the lakes on a map near the area you will be in, then go to the reports section of this site and search out the lakes. See what has been written up on them, see which ones will be best for you and your siste.

I hear Cushman is a nice place for trout but I think its C&R due to the specific species there.
