We are posting pics before mailing - is that right?

That is my understanding.

I wish I knew how to take better photos, but here is my set.

Image

I make mine a little differently from the common inline. For instance:

1) I normally use a swivel as part of the lure.
2) I use a split ring to attach the hook. One reason is to give me the flexibility to switch between single and treble without having to destroy the lure to do so I can comply with certan restrictions "on the fly."

Anyway, I hope you find them acceptable. The main bead is a peachy orange that will oddly enough reflect a purple/blue depending on the angle that light hits it. It might or might not help in catching fish, but it did catch this angler. :salut:

P.S. They're hand twisted. I don't have a twisting device.

I stayed up late last night. These are hand twisted and tied. Red marabou and opal flashabou on size 2 Matzuo sickle octopus hook. Teardrop bead for a body with 2 silver beads top and bottom of red bead with an inline blade. I don't know what it weighs. Not very much.
Beads can slide up so the wire opens and one can change out the hook.

Nice ones! I like both of those and cant wait to get them in the water! I'll weigh them and put together the specs on the final assortment. This first swap is coming together quickly.

When two more entries are posted I'll PM everyone with my address so you can mail them.

Islandbass, you going to make one more or mail the the four?

Mine are in the mail.

The football shape makes em great for casting and with the tail they sink face first so can be jigged as well as simply retrieved. I used a #4 rvrfshr hook.

I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker

Mine are in the mail.

I used Macks Chartreuse Sparkle 1.1" Smile Blades, a 3/4" hematite football and #4 RVRFSHR hooks.

The weight and shape of the football makes em great for casting and with the tail they sink face first so can be jigged as well as simply retrieved.

Alright, we're good to go. I can't wait for the fun stuff to show up in my mailbox. Get the hooks protected so my mail carrier doesn't come after me!

I think I've let all of you know the mailing address if not, here it is

John Delaney
1274 S Weldona Lane
Superior, CO 80027

Thanks for the quick response signing up and getting them made. I'll turn them around quick, maybe do an assortment picture with some weight and length stats in the lineup.

Cheers, This was fun!
