Not quite done yet guys.

Post by Bodofish » Sat Mar 26, 2011 1:49 pm

Message system seems to be having trouble. I'm guessing because of the Ver. that's running. The error is 30 message is the max for the inbox, you're over. My guess is most members are over. No worries, take your time. I feel the pain...... Been in your shoes a time or two.

He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.

Try dumping your browser's cookies before trying your new password. It solved my problem when using Internet Explorer. My Firefox browser had no problems as it is set to dump all temporary files, cookies, etc. everytime it is closed.

The max inbox limit is now 30. Try archiving your messages to get rid of the message.

If the messages are live or die important you can now export them as well, to be 100% sure you don't lose them.

I had 331 message in my inbox and just archived them. I had to refresh to get them to show up in my Archive though.

All my PMs, inbox and sent PMs, are now gone, but I didn't really have anything to much to worry about anyway.

So I need a tutorial on the archiving of PM's. I too archived 1600 messages. Maybe that means that I talk too much :-"
However now that they are archived, I still cannot send a PM, it says that I have over my quota of 30 messages. THERE IS NOTHING IN MY IN BOX. Has any body else had this same problem, or once you archived, are you able to PM?

I had the same situation. I looked at the list and thought "WHY would I want to keep all of these? I suppose I could go through about 1800 message and sort and save, or I could do something interesting........gone. All of them. Zero in sent and received. New Forum, clean slate.

I didn't have any problems archiving my messages. All the sent ones have disappeared. I have now successfully changed my password.

What does "Is this topic persistent? (Persistent topics are not pruned)" mean?

Nope,, the message I get is, "Your private message box is full..30 messages, please delete messages and try again." Although I archived everything. My inbox shows as empty. Your hands are full, I know.
