I can`t figure it out. Maybe someone else can.:-k From the looks of it I`d say it was a tough couple days and tough competition. At least one day was. I see a couple blanks on the board all the way down. Congrats anyway for making it this far.[thumbsup] Dez is well on his way.

I don't see Dez's name on there.

Ok, found it, on page 2 under 'co-angler'.

Anyone know who this guy is?
He finished 5th over all on the Co-Angler side. He lives very near where I live, but I have never heard of this guy.

FnF, Gene actually fishes for Wyoming. I meet him last year at the Divisionals at Yellowtail Resevior in Montana. His son, Eric also fished the Nationals as a boater. Big time bassin family.

Hey guyz , I just made it back late last night and im still a little jet lag as i sit here at work staring at a stack of paperwork from being out of the office for a week (welcome back)..lol

Let me just first say that i REALLY appreciate all the support and well wishes from everyone while Chris & I tried our very best to rep our division in TN . As you all know we stood a good chance going into day 2 to make the final cut , However the bit didnt workout in our favor ..

I personaly was assigned to a Boater who wanted to senko fish his water alllll day long which totaly went against the pattern i found in practice and on day1 of the event . I basicly caught most of my fish by Cranking ,Flipping Jigs , & Spinnerbaits in hunt of the aggressive bite which was taking place on the RipRaps around the lake . The problem i ran into on day 2 was really something i didnt have much control over , I landed 7 fish total that day However those fish all fell just shy of the 15inch slot limit (very frustrating).

Mr Gene Lippencott was the co angler that advanced to the final day , Guyz i tell ya what ! I have NO REGRETS with Gene making it too the final day . Gene has been to the nationals three times in his life and this was the very first time he made the cut . Gene told me that day " Dez , It took me 66 years to make it to the final day of nationals " ...It was a very emotional moment for him and i give my hats off to both him and Eric for there efforts down there , Gene is truly a great angler and he deserves every bit of respect for going on too compete in the BFL all american coming up soon ( Goood Luck Gene )!!

Guys this was an experiance of a lifetime and one that i will never forget ! The town of kimball, TN treated us like KINGS . My hats off to the TBF & FLW organization for putting on a Rockstar like venue for us . I really suggest that you guys fish the local TBF events because if you good or lucky enough to advance to the nationals it will be a experiance that we will never forget.

I got chance to get a few pics with some well known pro's Bryan Thrift (2010 FLW AOY), Dion Hibdon (The legend) , Scott Suggs (Winner of 2007 FLW CUP), Dan Morehead , & Dave lefrebre .. We watched the Pro' s weigh in for the final 10 man cut held on Lake chickamagua .I will post them on my page later today ..

Again guys thanks again for all the support , Those texts and calls really helped our motivation while we were rolling on 3 hours of sleep each night . Trust me when i say that both chris and i gave it our All on every cast as mentioned before i have no regrets , only the great memories of being apart of the best Bass fishing venue of My life !!! :-)
