MARLON ALUMINUM BOATS

Post by wherearethefish » Tue Jun 03, 2014 11:37 am

When I dropped my Yamaha 8hp off for repair work at Tacoma Boat, I was looking at there boats for sale, new and used. I really liked the Marlon utility models. Does anyone out there have an opion about these boats. The One item I do not like is there are made by a Canadian company in BC, but I do think there nice. If and when I buy another boat, I would prefer buying from US mfr. :salut: [thumbsup]

LOL Don't discount the Canucks product so fast. LOL My Silverstreak traveled well over 1000 water miles last year including offshore out to 55 miles from the boat ramp. It's only 17' and about 18 years old. Ha Ha!

I do see your point though, a competitively priced and similar quality US product is a great way to go. Defiance is starting production on some aluminum models, I don't recall the prices at all... worth a look for fun and dreamin purposes.
