Home cure for corn?
I have been thinking about possible a homemade solution for curing corn. has anyone ever cured their corn with Borax to help toughen up the kernels and help remove moisture (like what we do with roe) and then maybe add some sulfites as well? Korn magic WIzard seems to be hard to find locally and has been good to me, but not being able to get it off the shelf has me looking for my own corn magic hack. Thoughts? ideas?

Re: Home cure for corn?
I have been curing my own for a few seasons and it seems to work. I first drain the corn then add Pautzke fire cure in red, the stuff used on eggs. Along with that, I add Pautzke nectar and some Smelly Jelly Kokanee craze, not a lot. Makes the corn firm and a nice red/pink color and stays on the hook well.

I just salt it.
