6th annual Lake Stevens Kokanee Derby is set for May 16, featuring $1000 for biggest kokanee weighed in, sponsored by Dick Nite. Lot's of other cash and merchandise prizes. Kids Derby prizes $100, $75, $50. Adults $20, Kids under 14 fish free.

MSA, where are they holding this or should ask what dock? I am sure it won't be hard to miss but I have only driven by the lake and looked at the two boat launch's I could find. I really wish they would offer tickets online or some get some stores for us southern boys.... Hope we can make it up going to try and make a run to 3 rivers Marine on Friday.

The weigh in will be just North of the city park boat launch. Sorry about not having tickets closer to where you live. We might have to take a look at that next year. There will be tickets available first thing in the morning at the city launch. Thanks for your interest in this years derby.

MSA, don't be sorry it's not your fault. I understand local lake local supporting shops. I am sure there are others that live south that would love to see a shop or two down south sell tickets. Hope next year you find some alternative ways for people out of town to buy tickets. Looks like it will be a great year for fishing as well. Hope we get up your way this coming Saturday it should be a ton of fun.
