i have 6 fly cases, all of which have no room in any of them, and now have a surpluss to the point where i have piles of loose flies in my appartment . I wont be able to use all that ive tied in one lifetime. I would like to trade the flies or sell if need be. i live in the everett area. pm me if interested to see pics. Wooley buggers, knudson spiders, elk hair caddis, zebra midge, caddis larvae, adult caddis, gnat, stayners ducktail, mosquito, the list goes on...i tie with trout in mind.

do you have any Carey Specials?

I tie knudson spiders which are almost a carey special, if you like carey special, you should try it, the only difference between the 2 patterns is in a knudson spider there is mallard flank , in a carey special it is pheasant rump feathers, the flies look and act almost identical. I tie knudson spiders because the material is more affordable, and in my opinion works better. Ive trolled these patterns side by side, the spider wins everytime.

I would trade alot of flies and maybe pitch in a few bucks to trade for a used one hander 8wt, doesnt have to be anything fancy..

I got the 8 wt fly rod i was looking for now id like to trade them flies for an 8wt fly reel, doesnt need to be anything fancy, if its already got line on it, and its ready to fish, id trade 2 dozen flies(streamers) for that. Knudson spider, carey special, woolley buggers, black, brown and olive, johnsons beech fly, egg sucking leech etc.
