Anyone...

Post by leahcim_dahc » Thu Apr 17, 2008 11:37 am

...interested in fishing at some point in time?

I am looking for someone interested in setting up a time to go fishing, in particular if they own or have access to a pontoon or float tube. If not, I'll fish from shore, as well. Sorry no boat.

I have no issue fishing alone, but might be more entertaining and educational (for myself) with someone else. I have no problem driving a reasonable distance (50-100 miles with sufficient notice), however the closer the better (Riffe Lake to Lake Washington and anywhere in between...mostly freshwater). Time frame would be anywhere between tonight to the first of July...after that, I won't be around to do much fishing. My work schedule is constantly changing, but most likely will be working from 100pm to around 1000pm. I have every other weekend off, minus those reserved for family or duty.

I am not that great a fisherman, couldn't catch a cold if it had gills. However if you're interested in learning how to properly and efficiently rat nest your favorite bait caster, snag odd objects ranging from trees and trash to the occasional moored party barge, or be highly entertained by spastic and random gear changes this may be for you. :-s

Drop me a line and we'll get out on the water.

Thanks, Mike!

Nahhh...I'm not that bad, but some prior experiences warrant at least a warning of the possibility of random inexplicable behavior while on the water. :clown:

I like your style already:bounce: :bounce: Pretty funny...

I rarely find myself down in your territory but if I do I'll be sure to shoot a PM your way. My goal for the year is to get out with more folks from the site, so yea, I'll remember ya if I'm headed down south...

That sounds like a good time! I have some work to do this Sunday and have drill next weekend so I wouldn't be able to take you up on the derby unfortunately. I will definitely drop you a line here in the next couple weeks and hit the water. I have heard from a couple co-workers Offut is a decent place to fish...wouldn't mind checking it out sometime. Thanks!

That would be cool, thank you!

I'm normally not that bad about doing retarded things while fishing...but as always, there are those "it seemed like a good idea at the time..." things that happen. #-o

I have this weekend off if anyone is interested in hitting the water. I am dedicating Saturday to hitting whatever water I can. Sunday is reserved for both the kids and I, Monday for the daughter and I. Most likely, I will be either doing some shore/dock fishing or from my pontoon. If you have one as well, and would like to go fish somewhere Saturday...shoot me a PM.

As far as a particular species...not sure. I would like to do some jigging for bass...but I would also like to do some experimentation with trout. Either way...I'm getting some line wet.
