Good point - oh and I should point out let's go with "KTK" rather than "KK" - I felt I was stealing "kokanee kid's" signature...so I backed off...

BTW, KTK, i just added a "Read" link to the Latest FW Reports page so you can keep track of the read ones by link color as well as open them in a new window/tab if you so choose.

BTW, the various comments for this photo include:
Caught and released this 21 pound carp off the north bank of Long Lake near Tum Tum at about 6:30 PM. Fought for about 15 minutes before I could reel her in. Avoid Long Lake on weekends or holidays. With all water skiers and jet skiers it is noisier th

My son's first catch! He caught a 17" Rainbow Trout!!!! We were casting right off the dock. Does anyone know what the record is out at Lake Ki for Rainbow Trout?? 17" seems large for a trout?? Everyone had plenty of luck out there, they seemed to bite, jus
This was my second time on this lake in my tube and landed a 2lb LMB on my second cast. Nice day till the rain started. Nice lake to avoid the crowds.
Fishing was pretty good at first. Got to lake around 7am. Weather got a little rough and the fish seemed to stop biting for a few hours and then around noon bites started picking up. Reeled in my first catfish out of this lake. Will be back again soon.
And the winner is: duff, from Island Lake, Kitsap County.

See, now doesn't it feel good to do a little meaningless spring cleaning.
WOW! How did this get up to 2 pages already. Are we in violation of the FM Law?

Perfect, thanks Aaron!
**Sidenote**
I'm having issues uploading photos so they show up without having members click each link...what could be the cause of this? I know many other members have had this problem as well. You can see in the thread "Opening day pic"...it just has a list of all 6 attachments. Is there something I'm missing? How do I get the whole photo to display? I will say one thing, my photos are large, so is that the problem? I'm not sure. I know on another website I use their photo uploader thing and it works amazingly well. There has to be something I'm missing...any ideas, anybody? I know it was getting to northfork (Bill)...and I don't blame him one bit...it's a pain in the arse to click each attachment to see the angler's picture(s).

Great question KTK.
Actually, I posted something really wrong so I went back and deleted it and now I am trying to redeem myself. But ya, great question KTK.

I am kind of a computer nerd (so to say) I usually have 5-6 tabs opened to different sites at a time reading different things, putting posts together in Word, and on different forums too. Actually, I am also listening to an audio file as well right now while I am doing all this. Pretty sad, I know. But I don't find this to be difficult for some reason. I have been doing this for years now and as this forum goes, I am a member of another forum similiar to this one and have been for 5 years, so I don't find this site hard to navigate.

I'm sure it would run great... on Linux... because I wouldn't be able to run any of my software.

Here is goes...and it worked...it's under 150K...so maybe that's my problem...if so I'll need to work on cutting them down in size...any suggestions on how to go about this? There definately is a cut off point...I'll have to play around with it and see. It's where that cut off point is that has me wondering...

You could try scaling the images with Gimp....very similar to Photoshop, but free....

Start>Microsoft Office>Microsoft Office Tools>Microsoft Office Picture Manager
Open it.
Tools>File Types
Select the first 4.
Click OK.
Now when you view pictures it will use this program. Just open, click Edit Pictures, Resize and/or Compress. You can do entire folders all at once.
I usually dump from my camera into a named folder like.. "Liberty Lake", then create a subfolder called "Web" where I put a copy of all the photos and resize them all to 800x600... that way I still have the full-resolution versions.
