Completed The "Fish Killer" Livingston!!!

Post by triehl27 » Sat May 24, 2008 12:03 pm

I bought this 7.5' livingston from David Z off the forum, and have since been adding and refining to it til it fits my need to perfection.

Basic 7.5' Livingston, Added
- retightened and resealed all through hull hardware
- painted the interior patch
- added 4 scotty pole holders
- added 1 crab pot puller
- Based off of a design that David showed me I built my own portable fishfinder rig and attached it to a poly cutting board.
- Based of opinions from the forum I got a type 29 wal mart deep cycle battery
- Old minnkota 23# thrust electric motor
- 4 Hp Yamaha ( Story behind this motor, got it from a guy who couldn't get it to run. Took it home and found the fuel was turn off, turned it on and never had a problem since)
- Clamp seat as the fiberglass gets a little hard after hours of sitting.
- Velcro'd in poly cutting board
Room for 2 full size guys and gear for all day.
Gonna be a fantastic lake boat, and coastal crab runner.

Here's the pic...

Look out!! there is a weird pink faced kid stealing your boat!!!!

I had one of those for a while, it got pretty comical when two of us adults were trying to sight fish bass, standing up and moving around. I liked how I could pretty much get it into any water though.
