Secret RBT Lake
Well I took my Father-in-Law fishing this morning at 9AM to my Secret Lake for some nice RBT,..soon as I got to the dock and dropped my line BAM,..fish on,..he was amazed at the catch ratio and the size of the Bows,..we caught 9 fish between us and lost quite a few more,..my driveway drain catch basin cover is about 12"X12" just to give you and idea of how big these Bows are,..anyways we left at 11:00AM,..nice couple of hours with the old man! Contemplating sharing this Secret Lake with a few members,..we would have to fish the flip side of the lake where the main lake runs and overflows to another,..we'd be fishing for Bass as I really feel that this body of water might hold some "Serious-Lunkers",..whoever comes would have to have at least a 12' boat with an Electric Troller,..the water is very stained with a whole mess of cover,..fallen trees,..lilypads,..etc. Let me know if you're interested,..shoot me a PM. BTW,..one of the residents I spoke with last week said that for a few years now he has been catching the "Dinks" on the other side and placing them in the stained lake,..in 2005 I landed a 26" 5.5 lb LMB on the other side,..so I know for sure there is some "Lunkers" in there,..!

Nice catch! I wish I could find a combination lake like that here on the dry side. I'm sure we have one or two, I just haven't found them yet. :bigsmurf:
Where you go is less important than how you get there.

Yeah this is a cool place to fish,..on one side the residents stock it with Bows,..alot of holdovers,..big ones too,..the lake is fed from an underground stream then it empties into the sister lake across the road,..wich I think all the Bass live,..so I'll try for some Big Bass at the end of the month and if all else fails there's always the "for-sure" Bows across the road!
