I had stopped by the liquor store to get some brandy and noticed this jar labeled Dry Fly Gin and also saw Dry Fly Vodka. It is Spokane's very first distillery and uses Washington grown wheat. I bought one of the small 50ml bottles ($5.95) of vodka and havent tried iet yet. The bottle design is pretty cool I think. Per their website it looks like they make a whiskey too but i didnt see any in the store. I gues it debut'd in 09/2007 but I'd never seen it till yesterday....supposedly per a press release product wasnt supposed to start being available until 2009. I guess they are the first distillery in Washington State since prohibition (80 years)....at least first commercial one lol. I had to work at 5am this morning so wasnt obliged to be able to try the vodka last night but sure will be tonight! Cant wait to find the whiskey.......maybe Mike can get them as a site sponsor hehe ;)

I mixed it into some Simply Limonade and could hardly taste it.....prolly mixed in too much solute or its just that smooth

its just that smooth. i got the gin yesterday, not much of a gin person but the gin and juice was great. i mix the vodka 1/2 & 1/2 in a glass full of ice but then im immune the the vodka flavor. sent an email to dry fly about the whiskey but no responce yet.

that is a pretty slick hat, I think Im going to have to go to their store here in Spokane and get me a hat and a bottle of the Vodka.......I need to cycle out some of my hats as they are getting sweat stained and what not...I keep telling the wife I need a new hat.....but she apparently thinks ya only need one hat....i told her then she only needs one pair of shoes lol.....i need to get a WL.com hat too one of these days....
