How do you plan on fishing them????

I have no experience with them but they look like the might worked if you tipped a lure with them and trolled with them....

For plunking them I'd like to compare them with an air inflated worm and see the results...

Iv used both the big ones and the smaller ones. I have the black ones but never tried them, nor the red ones. Ive used them on wedding rings when I run out of real worms. They work pretty well but they arnt as good as real worms, and they are pretty pricey. Iv also caught a fish out of meridian on a small gulp worm and a mallow. I like to have them in my tackle box just in case. I tend to forget my worms alot, I also run out of worms alot especially around the opener whith all the stockers, or around walleye spawning season. If I run out of worms I at least use the fake ones to troll back in to get more worms. They also work well in the hot heat because they dont go bad like real worms. But you must keep the lid on because they will dry out pretty quick, and make sure to take entire worm off of hook when you are done fishing because if it dries out, it almost imposible to get it off the hook.

I have the same problem of forgetting to buy the worms. I'm planning to try to troll them with a wedding ring. Has anyone tried to still fish with them? If so, do you put any movement on them or do you just fish them like a regular worm?

Iv still fished with them a couple times, I got skunked more than not. But I just fish them like a regular worm, nothing special. One person that I talked too during a walleye fishing tourney said that he only uses the real worms and his partner only uses the fake worms. He said they both have about the same luck, its just personal preference. I think its just what you have confidence using. I myself am a fan of real worms

I've been using the red little gulp ones recently on my flatfish and they've been working just as well as real worms. I havn't had the time to make a side-by-side comparison in catching potential, but I do prefer ability to carry the gulp bait forever, as apposed to the real worms dying in the heat. Just my views though.

I too carry them as a last resort. I bought a jar when I couldn't buy any worms to save my life. On the way out fishing, buddy was suposed to get worms and tells he couldn't find any on the road at 4:30 in the morning. We bought them at a truevalue/gas station open 24 hours. They work in a pinch. I think regular PB works better. They're really tough. Once they go on, they're there for the day. "100 times more wormy than real worms" don't know what that's suposed to mean.........:-&

I have had my jar for about a year now. The worms have dried out a little bit but you can still use them. There just not as fresh a a brand new jar
