Aaron wrote:I'm at work now, and I jsut used IE 6 to reproduce the problem, and it is just as I suspected. It's the Ad thats showing. It's doing something wierd on the page. I'm getting something like this:
http://www.outdorrtal.com/iframe.php?r=
http://www.outdorrtal.com/iframe.php?r=
http://www.washingtonlakes.com/forum/ya

The iframe where the Ad is loading is doing something that is being caught by the browser and stored in the History so when you hit Back you're only undoing what the iframe did... and it takes 2 or 3 clicks to get back to the actual browsing history which is when it appears to work, and actually takes you back to where you were.
I'll talk to our Ad people and see what they can do.
Great Aaron, I was feeling bad that I couldn't be more specific to what was going on.
Thanks.

No problem. Our ad publishers assure me they will fix the problem, or pull the ads.
RE:Trouble with using the back page tab.
Can anyone confirm that this problem has been fixed???

No problem. You were all enough help for me to get an idea of the problem and get it fixed! That's good enough for me.

I noticed tonight that the Outdoortal ad is appearing on the site again... so be sure to let me know if the problems show up again so I can get it taken care of. They said they would try to fix it or remove it... it was removed... so maybe its fixed now. I'm sure Chevy is paying them a lot to post that ad... so I'm sure they'll be on top of it again if I have to resort to yelling at them. ;)

Geez, it's funny that you just posted this again... because I was just in the off topic forum and got stuck without able to backpage. FYI I did hit the arrow down button next to backpage, and then I was able to navigate backward via that downward arrow.
