new project
well i got this 14 foot boston whaler center console style skiff for FREE:cheers: off CL came with a 1949#-o 45 hp out board and a trailer that is perfect new lights and jack stand. the bad is it needs a new floor the transom seems solid needs other fiberglass work as well i just dont know if its worth trying to fix even though it was free will get more pixs today

Go for it!! I am about to start building my first wooden boat (or any boat for that matter very soon) It could be a great learning project. There is a ton of info. and forum boards out there to learn from people regarding restoration and building boats. Let me know if you get going on it.:bounce:

It is so sad to see a great boat go to Hades like that. There oughta be a law for boat abuse!

well iv came to the conclusion, im going to give the boat and motor away for 50 bucks thats what it cost me (plus i traded my new toon
for it#-o
) 250 with trailer just to much work and what a nasty job. the little bit of cutting and grinding I did do covered my whole shop(5000 sq feet) in dust let me know If you want it. the guy i got it from said he had it in the water in September and it ran fine the motor is a 1949 sears Chrysler#-o 45 hp cable steering
