I have to spend a few hours in Puyallup in early June with nothing to do but wait in the car, near River Rd. So fishing is naturally what I can do to kill time. Puyallup River is not open yet, but I noticed there is a Clarks Creek that drains into Puyallup River. Nope, it's not a juvenile-only creek, it's an adult-selective-gear-rule creek, and it'll be open on first Sat. in June!
From the satellite images and StreetView, it looks like a small creek no wider than 20ft. But my question is where can I get down to the water? I don't have much time there, it'd be best if I can have a clear idea before I go. Can someone share some fishing spots on the creek? Map coordinates are highly appreciated!
Thank you all!

Re: Fishing spots on Clarks Creek in Puyallup?
I've fished this creek heavily as it has been open. The best thing you can do is head to the clarks creek park south entrance and launch from 12th ave using a kayak or float tube. This has been the stretch where I have caught the largest and most rainbows on the creek.

even though i live 10 minutes from it I've never fished it before but a friend who does tells me about some good sized trout. I've seen kayaks in it that looked almost as long as the creek is wide too.

If you float a medium sized kayak you should be fine. My buddies and I were floating it all season this year and had good success. You will want to make sure you fish light tackle and have an anchor to slow your drift above the holes. There are a few holes that hold some rainbows topping 6 lbs.

Jumbo small stream trout? Looks like I`m going to have to check this place out some time!
