is there a public boat ramp

Post by cobrar543 » Fri Jun 26, 2015 7:30 pm

In the edmunds area? I have looked on line and the closest I can find it Mukilteo. I want to do some bottom fishing with my Grand Kids in that area. Thanks

Everett is way safer than Mulkiteo because of the wind.

only other options are Shileshole, or don't know if they're still open, a couple boathouses between Shilshole and Edmonds.

I haven't used it in years. But there is, or used to be, a sling launch at the Edmonds Marina. I used it a lot in the 80's and 90's. But then they decided to make that marina mostly for large, moored boats, and didn't want the small boat crowd (meaning us).. They drastically raised prices about 10-12 years ago. Last time I was there it was 25 bucks to launch. You might call the Edmonds marina and ask if they still have the sling launch available.

That's Seattle, not many launch ramps. Marinas want the big boat, big money folks. I kinda expect the Mulk ramp will be closed one of these days since they want the parking for the picnic crowd.

They do show the rates. Depending on your trailer, 27 to 38 bucks plus parking.
