Pictures in your Post

Post by fisherhall » Mon Jan 07, 2008 11:34 pm

I read the other forum about attaching a picture but how do you get to actually have your picture show up in your post without having to download it?

the only way I know of is to first make a post and then go back and attach a picture. Kinda weird but there it is.

What I do is open the picture on the desktop and then attach the photo that is open. For some reason, when I just select a photo from a file and attach it without it being open, the link shows up when I attach it.

I am on a Mac, so that may be just a Mac thing:scratch:

When you are typing in your post thought here is an icon of a picture next to the hyperlink button. What does this do then?

Make your post then go back and edit it adding the photos. Works every time. Go no bigger than 640 by 480 at 72 dot per.

What that does is allows you to attach an image from the web. Ater you click on the image icon you will get two sets of brackets with img in the first and /img in the second and then you put the url address inbetween the brackets and your image is suppose to appear, but I can not seem to get it to work now...it worked before. I guess I do not have an answer and now I can not delete this post...so I look like a goof (te he)

Photobucket's darn easy. Create an account (just provide an email, you don't get spam) and upload photo's, copy the image code and stick it in these reply boxes. super easy stuff....Don't have to worry about file size or anything like that...
