It was caught in a drainage ditch that flows out of a lake called Hattie here outside Laramie. Hattie I believe holds the WY record Koke saw one that was way over swimming in the pool. Got two on a spinner with a weight slow rolling it across the bottom. I was accually out shooting my muzzel-loader, deer season opened today:-"

So a quick look on google maps shows two bodies of water with a link between the two that looks like a river/stream/slough, is that it? I imagine that the link between the two bodies of water doesn't flow during the winter months. Amazing how they will try to spawn just about anywhere.
