I was just out there at Cama Beach and didnt even get a bite. Alls I used was herring though. Im sure you could get a flounder or dog fish. The weather probably had a lot to do with my unsuccessfulness. (VERY stormy)

Not much public beach access although once you get to the beach and you stay below mean high tide line, you're good. Cama beach is not a place I'd go. I'd head to the north end of Port Susan, there's a boat ramp and you can get to the beach. work it all the way to the Stilly. You might find a Sturgeon at low tide. Or later in the year some salmon.
Build a man a fire and he's warm for the night. Light a man on fire and he's warm the rest of his life!

I am probably going to be fishing at the Camano Island state park of the boat launch dock!

Although I haven't done it, I see guys casting for cutthroat trout off the beach at Camano Island State Park. It's a catch and release fishery and might be fun if you can find em. I also believe as already mentioned, you could catch flounder, dog fish, or bull head from the beach or dock.
