Re: Springers on the Sky
If ya fish the mouth the sultan is good
Fishing isn't a hobby, It isn't for fun. Fishing is life.
Re: Springers on the Sky
Yeah, last year the lower Wallace was open for Steelhead.Im HORRIBLE at fishing for Steelhead, but I hooked into 2 at the Wallace while twitching pink jigs off the bottom. I went to my usual spot one time and found 4 hatchery carcasses. Some guy and his buddy limited out! This was in mid July.
Thank you! Come again!

Theres a few steel that will go up the sultan, if it was really worth fishing for steel there would be more people on it though.

If you think they are lock jawed, try Springers on the Sol Duc.....Steelheadin360 wrote:There is lock jaw fish, then there is the Skykomish Chinook....

Try Dupont spinners. LOL
Re: Springers on the Sky
Any standard steelhead setup will work. Most people I've seen tend to do pretty good on #12 orange corky, but I personally prefer to use bobber and eggs most of the time.FishingThePacNW wrote:Ok, what do you suggest to use?
