Extra seat on Lk. Wa. Sunday morning.
I've tried for 3 weekends to get out on Lk. Wa. for those cutts. I've been messed over by weather and other stuff each time. This is short notice, but I'd be looking for someone to go with. It would be about 9-9:30 Sunday the 13th. I usually go in at the Magnuson Park launch, but I'm flex. 14' boat, 2 downriggers, 25 hp, I've got what you need jut let me know if anyone is interested.
(Mike U. I think you're at Fish lake if memory serves me, otherwise I'd of PM'ed you)

Ill be up there launching out of Coulon unless the Magnuson ramp is cheaper?? What part of the lake are you going to fish?

I plan to go up near Kenmore, and then troll down the Juanita/kirkland side......most likely, but then the I always mark so many fish just off the mouth of the Cedar R. ( probably up north.)
I know Coulon is $10.00 and so is Magnuson. There is a launch I discovered that is about 1 mile south of Seward park.. it's very off the beaten path within a neighborhood. Nobody there, it might be $5.00, but not sure, but then what's 5 bucks savings if your gonna drive farther in traffic. Send us a report from that new boat, actually I wish I new what to look for on the lake, ( your boat I mean.)

Arrgg, Here it is 9:30 on Sunday morning and I haven't been online all weekend
- If I had known I would have rather been there launching with ya than sitting here typing this. Hope to read a good report tomorrow! Keep me in mind for next time!
I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker

Here's 2 boat launches closer to you by Lake Union which are free(no launch fee)-- here's the linkquadradomus wrote:I plan to go up near Kenmore, and then troll down the Juanita/kirkland side......most likely, but then the I always mark so many fish just off the mouth of the Cedar R. Sunnyside Ave N Boat Ramp ---->Sunnyside Ave N Boat Launch
14th Avenue NW Boat Ramp ----->14th Ave NW Boat Launch
I've used Sunnyside launch a few times when I bass fished Lake Union and by UW areas but mosty use Stan Sayres launch.

Eddie,
Thanks, I actually know of those two launches.... the 14th Ave one I use when going to lk. Union, but it is a LONG 5knots, min. wake ride to lake washington. The other one Sunnyside? I think is the one that is in the vicinity of Ivars on Lk. Union. I was never quite sure about that launch.... it looks like maybe there is no concrete foundation at the launch... like maybe you just back into the mud? Also, it seemed like the parking across from the launch was short in length. Maybe this launch is more of a car-topper type launch?

Those in the northend, remember that Kirkland is a FREE launch from now until Apr.1 I believe...and then you have the Kenmore launch, which still is FREE (see how long that stays like that). Seems like the north end of the lake has FREE launch sites, while down south you must pay. Either way, it's fun to be out on the lake.

thanks bill, i heard there were free launch's, just didnt know where. and chris (quadr) wish i could have made it out with you. i froze my butt off in leavenworth, and evidently fish lake was closed, but we along with 15 others were on it, i didnt even wet a line. 8 inches of slush to wade thru, though. ive been hearing the cutts die down until march. have you guys heard that??

I think Stan Sayres is only 5.00.I live less then a mile from there. They just made the launch better and modernized it.
When youre up to your rear end in alligators, its hard to remember that the initial plan was to drain the swamp.

They die down because they are spawning right now. Give them a couple months and in March/Apr. things will pick up as they get on the prowl again for baitfish.michaelunbewust wrote: ive been hearing the cutts die down until march. have you guys heard that??
