ok,not fishing but this is from Saturday,we took a break from fishing and drove up to Mt. St. Helens.
Steam was venting from the dome,kinda cool.

I caught a fish just a lil bigger then your sons fish.Not by much though.Great pics.I agree KB I seldom leave our great state.There are so many awesome places to go here ,why go elsewhere?
When youre up to your rear end in alligators,its hard to remember that the initial plan was to drain the swamp.

Here is my son this morning..... 18 inches and a beast it took him close to ten minutes to reel in he was using 4 lb. test... (dad helped very little)

It's nothing too special, just a 12+ lb silver, but when you land it with a light little 7' lamiglas trout pole and it doesn't snap the rod it makes for an exciting time!
